Later her childhood nickname became her iconic stage name "Bebe" Daniels. At the age of nine she stared in her first short film The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Later she landed the roll as the lead actress in Harold Lloyd's Lonesome Luke series, which pushed her career towards success immensely.
