This Day In Time- Bebe Daniels

                                                  ____________________________________

This day in time one-hundred and eleven years ago in Dallas, Texas, Phyllis Virginia Daniels was born to a stage manager and actress. Later her childhood nickname became her iconic stage name "Bebe" Daniels. At the age of nine she stared in her first short film The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Later she landed the roll as the lead actress in Harold Lloyd's Lonesome Luke series, which pushed her career towards success immensely. After staring in many more silent films (including her first major "adult" roll in Monsieur Beaucaire with Rudolph Valentino) Bebe finally appeared in her first talkie in Rio Rita. At the age of seventy on March 17, 1971 Phyllis Virginia Daniels died in London of a cerebral hemorrhage, late her ashes were brought back to Hollywood CA, the place she once considered "home."

One of my favorite blogs that I frequently view is Chaplin In Pictures. I love photography and Charlie Chaplin, so this blog is defiantly one of my favorites. Therefore I decided to post some of my personal favorite photo's of Charlie Chaplin. Hope you enjoy!

A typical Chaplin pose!

I'd love to know what he was thinking here. He looks so distant in this photo.

I love this suit!

I just love candle stick phones!
